To our customers:

We are excited to write you with BIG news. After more than 18 years in business, Ann and I have decided to sell our business. As of October 18, 2009, there will be a new owner for Two Old Bags pattern company-Barb Cattani, UP NORTH FIBER ART SUPPLY (aka Yarns By Design) in Neenah, Wisconsin.

We feel that our pattern line will be in good hands with Barb. She has been in the retail shop business for seven years and in the last 4 years has begun the wholesale side of the business representing designers such as Lucy Neatby (US distribution). Barb has demonstrated a good business acumen and knowledge of the yarn industry and the needs, both retail and wholesale, of knitters and small business owners.

Ann and I intend to continue occasionally designing new patterns when we are not tending to grandchildren and other things "two old bags" want to do. We don't want to go away completely, just relax a bit more!

Check your mail. In the next few weeks you will receive information from Barb about ordering, etc.
