Clamshell Bag

Get in the 40's mood with this glitzy vintage style bag. Combine worsted weight wool yarn with an eyelash type yarn, felt and Voila! a bag for a night on the town. Easy to knit with minimal shaping.

Yarn: Worsted weight yarn that will felt and a novelty yarn such as eyelash or fun fur. Large bag requires 440 yards of worsted weight wool and 200 yards of novelty yarn. Small bag requires 300 yards of worsted weight yarn and 120 yards of novelty yarn

Needles: 16" long and 24" long circular needles in size 10.5US. Double point needles size 10.5US

Finished measurements: Large bag is 9" wide at top band and 9" tall before handles. Small bag is 7.5" across top band and 9" tall before handles.
