Felted Tote Bag

What knitter can't use another tote bag for all those works in progress? Knit a TALL version for big projects or a SMALL size for smaller projects. Either tote can become a purse with the addition of a button flap. Knit these bags in worsted weight wool using circular and double-point needles.

Yarn: Tall bag used 760 yards of worsted weight wool that will felt. Samples used 4 skeins of Galway (210 yards/100g skein) or 4 skeins of Lamb's Pride Worsted. Small bag or purse used 690 yards of worsted weight yarn. Samples used 3 skeins of Galway (210 yards/100g skein) or 4 skeins of Lamb's Pride Worsted. 

Needles: 24" long circular in size 10.5US. Double point needles in size 10.5US

Finished measurements: Tall tote in Lamb's Pride worsted was 13.5" tall. Base was 12"x5". Small tote knit in Lamb's Pride was 9.5" tall. Both bags were smaller when knit with Galway.
